Cosmo Hairstyling
Nijmegen and Den Bosch
Ger Koopmans and his wife run three successful salons together: Koopman Kappers in Nijmegen, Cosmo Hairstyling in Nijmegen and a second Cosmo Hairstyling in Den Bosch. 'My wife's first steps were in the Cosmo. At some point we got the opportunity to take over the Cosmo in Nijmegen and we took that chance with both hands.'
What Cosmo found new at first was that Ger is not a hairdresser himself, but he is the franchisee. "That took some getting used to for them, to talk to someone about a salon who is not a hairdresser," says Ger. Still, this cooperation works perfectly. After all, Ger is a real numbers guy, and that's exactly where Aimy comes in very handy.
Figures with Aimy
Ger takes full advantage of Aimy's capabilities in his salons. "Every Monday I get all the numbers from Aimy and send them with a nice story to all the employees. This way I keep them motivated and up-to-date," he explains. With Aimy, Ger can effortlessly manage the bonus system, which is essential for keeping his team stimulated and engaged.
Already sold more than 105 subscriptions
At Koopman Barbers, Ger has been working with Aimy for five years. One of the strategies he is a big fan of are the subscriptions his salon offers. "These subscriptions even got us through the corona crisis, because customers stayed loyal just kept paying." says Ger. By now, they have sold more than 105 subscriptions at Koopman Barbers. "If you make the customer really special and cut well, they often don't think long about a subscription. It works perfectly for us!"
