Hair salon in the Jordaan
Lorin Versteeg and Siko van Berkel opened their unique store 5.5 years ago in the heart of the Jordaan, Amsterdam. Their mission was clear: to create a place that pays tribute to the beauty and character of Amsterdam, in response to the disappearance of many beautiful places in the city.
The search for a booking system
In their search for the best booking system, Lorin and Siko tried several options. Unfortunately, they ran into several obstacles where the other systems could not support them optimally. However, they discovered Aimy. What attracted them to Aimy was the ability to provide input and customize the system to their specific needs.
"What we liked about Aimy is that it's a new company where a lot of input is still possible, so it can really still be tweaked a little bit to our liking," Lorin explains. "You notice that a lot of platforms weren't necessarily very much for hairdressing. I do feel like this is more for the hairdresser and the consumer is joining."

Thanks to Aimy, Lorin and Siko now have a booking system that seamlessly meets their needs and helps them make their dream of an Amsterdam oasis in the Jordaan area a reality.
