I am Cedric, co-owner of 8 Amsterdam. Together with Gaby and Yentl, we run the business as independent owners. The name "8 Amsterdam" stands for happiness and infinite possibilities in Chinese culture, which reflects our vision.
With our background in the hairdressing industry and the successful business model we developed during our joint salon work experience, we decided to go our own way. This led to the establishment of 8 Amsterdam, where we have enthusiastically opened our doors since Oct. 17. What makes our barbershop unique is that the three of us own it and want to create a personal, cozy atmosphere in Amsterdam. We want to bring the living room feeling back into the world of hairdressing.
Yentl is known for her exceptional coloring skills and especially her love for blonde hair. On the other hand, we have Gaby, our "cut & color Queen," who not only excels in her skills but is also experienced as an educator for various schools. And I am especially known for my great love of cutting hair.
Fun fact: I did not take a formal hairdressing course, but trained internally to become a full-fledged hairdresser. I started relatively late, at the age of 23. Originally doing modeling, I discovered that I loved making people happy and being involved in fashion. That's how I got into hairdressing.

The personal commitment of the Aimy team was decisive for our cooperation. They are always ready to help if we are stuck on something. For implementation, I didn't actually have to do anything. Everything was prepared by the Aimy team. All I had to do was press the button and I could scan and checkout.
Working with Aimy has saved us a lot of time, especially when booking clients online. Since we don't have receptionists, we appreciate that clients can easily book appointments themselves online.
