Virgo Hairdressing Team is a cozy but professional hair salon in the Stadshart of Maassluis. We are known for our personal attention, high-quality treatments and a team of true professionals. At Virgo Kappersteam, we believe that a visit to the hairdresser should be more than just a haircut. It is a moment of rest, luxury and personal attention. We know our clients, really listen, give honest and open advice. We work as a team every day to make our clients happy with beautiful and especially healthy hair.

I took over the salon in January 2022 after working there since 2009. From my vision of quality, customer experience and team development, we have continued to build Virgo Hairdressing Team into what it is today. The salon is located in the Stadshart of Maassluis, in the middle of the local entrepreneurs.

What sets you apart from other salons?
Our strength is in specialization and service. We have experts in areas such as curls, coloring, scalp problems and hair extensions (Great Lengths). Clients do not get a 'one size fits all' treatment, but real customized advice. We only work with high quality brands such as Fuente, Mediceuticals and Great Lengths. We also focus strongly on the experience, from a nice wash massage in our massage chairs to the right atmosphere in the salon.

The move to digitization

We were already working with a digital planning system, but I ran into some limitations. There were functions that I wanted to change, but those changes were not possible in the short term. So I started looking around and that's how I ended up at Aimy.

I was looking for a system that was more user-friendly and, above all, accessible from anywhere - both on the road and on the permanent computer in the salon. Aimy is a lot more modern than our previous system and is completely in line with the vision I have for the salon. It fits better with the way we want to work.

What are your experiences working with Aimy?
Very positive! The transition went smoothly. Together with Demi from Aimy, I went through all the treatments and products from our old system beforehand. Then we found out that there were quite a few errors in the treatments. We were able to correct these immediately in Aimy, so that everything worked well from the start.

Customer service is easily accessible, thoughtful and always open to feedback. What I especially appreciate is that Aimy continues to develop and really listens to what salons need. It is not a cumbersome or static system, but rather flexible and user-friendly.

The automatic reminders really make a difference!

The digital calendar is the basis, of course, but what really makes a difference are the automatic reminders, the online bookings and the ability to set down payments. As a result, we have far fewer no-shows and our schedule runs more smoothly.

WhatsApp reminders were also a decisive reason for us to switch. In this day and age, when almost everyone uses WhatsApp, it is a fast and effective way to communicate with customers.

Customers can schedule their appointments 24/7

Clients can schedule their own appointments 24/7, which saves a lot of phone traffic. In addition, the client cards with treatment history are indispensable: this way we can always see which products or techniques we have used. This not only inspires confidence, but also radiates professionalism.
