Coiffures Gilbert
I am Gilbert, 54 years old and a proud entrepreneur for 34 years. With a diploma in hairdressing and experience in Rotterdam and even America, I started thirty-three years ago. Together with my mother I started the first Coiffures Gilbert salon in Alphen aan den Rijn.
What began as an adventure grew into a successful business with two hair salons, one in Alphen aan den Rijn and one in Lisse, with twelve dedicated employees. Gilbert Coiffures is named after my French name. My mother knew at the time that I would run the salon longer than she did, so she chose my name. Thirteen years ago I took over, and since then I have been running the salons with my wife and my wonderful team.
My passion for hairdressing arose from my love of people. The contact, the interaction. When I came into contact with the profession, I knew that my vocation was not only to make people happy, but also to give them a look that suits them perfectly. What makes Coiffures Gilbert unique? Our total customer pampering, from the initial website visit to the consultation, the treatment, and the unique experience in our salon. Every client deserves personalized advice and a relaxing moment with us.
